My Services & Fees:
Below are the major steps into creating a website and publishing it on the internet. You will also see the cost, as a guideline, associated with the different steps:
Domain Name: I will help you in the selection and arrange for the registration of your domain name. Your domain name is basically the name selected to call your website on the internet (ex: "Company Name.com"). $10/yr.
Website Design: I will design, with your information (text, pictures,...), a website well structured for ease of use and professional appearance that will reflect your business or organization theme. I have access to a multitude of pictures & graphics to help make your website visually pleasant and relate the proper message to the viewers. I will also set you up with emails associated with your website (ex: Your Name @ Company Name .com) that can be automatically forwarded directly to your personal email. Starts at $150/1 time fee (depending on the complexity, number of pages and how much text you supply me with versus text I will need to compose myself,...).
Web Hosting: I will register and publish your website on the internet through a hosting company so the wide world can access your website. The host is basically a company who owns high capacity servers (computers) that store your website information on their servers for a fee. $20/mo. (or $200/yr if paid in advance) -could be more if disk space and bandwidth needed is excessively large.
Maintenance/Updates: Every so often, you will most likely want to update some information or pictures on your website; or perhaps add one or more new pages. You will be glad to know that my fees are very reasonable. $20/hr.
On-Location Pictures: Some clients who are not too familiar with digital photography may request my services to show their business or organization visually on their website. I have the experience and equipment for most situations. Unfortunately, I can only offer this service, without additional traveling expenses & fees, in Coconut Creek and the surrounding area. $20/hr (special expenses may apply under special circumstances).
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Services: Some businesses or organizations need a website for their clients or members to have a common place for information and don't need to have their website appear near the top page when a seach via a engine search is done. Included (I don't charge an additional fee to submit your site to the main search engines).
Other businesses or organizations depend on the Search Engine's results to bring their website near the top of the page when some keywords are searched. Although there are no quick or easy answers to this issue; I will help you select the best Search Engine Optimization Service for your situation should you need one.
Several factors affect the visibility of being found on the world's web: Site needs to be properly coded and include well-written content that is targeted to your specific audience. Meta keywords and descriptions as well as links usually are a critical aspect to "being found" on many search engines .
It takes time (often 2-10 weeks) to be found by the Search Engines' crawlers to read the links, keywords and descriptions and then, there are no guarantees even after your site has been submitted.
Note that SEO is complex; it's difficult to be sure of the results, it's almost never guaranteed (but you should be very cautious if it is); even Google's own website quote "Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a "special relationship" with Google, or advertise a "priority submit" to Google.
